Kathleen does the preliminary interviews, background checks and candidate screening to give parents the confidence that the candidates they are interviewing meet high standards for security and safety. The final selection process and contract negotiation is up to the parents. Kathleen’s flat fee structure for placing candidates ensures her objectivity throughout the selection and negotiation process. Other agencies charge families a percentage of the final negotiated nanny salary which can impact their ability to remain neutral.Kathleen is always very responsive to questions and eager to help.

Regarding the babysitter service: It is reassuring to have access to f babysitters who have cleared background checks, been interviewed by Kathleen and, in most cases, completed their CPR/1st Aid training. The background checks in particular are an added security measure that families do not get with basic online babysitter referral or posting sites.
