On-Call Babysitters
Our On-Call Babysitters are available for days, evenings, weekends, and overnights.
We personally interview all of our Babysitters and complete their reference checks. Before being referred to our clients, they are also required to:
- Be 18 with high school diplomas and beyond (most are over 21)
- Have criminal background checks (actually fingerprinted not just an online search)
- Have driving background checks
- Be CPR and 1st Aid certified including infant and child
- Have at least 3 verifiable childcare references
Many of our On-Call Babysitters are Early Childhood Education majors working their way through school while others may be career nannies supplementing their income doing what they love.
How Does it Work?
- Fill out the online application.
- You will contacted by the agency to discuss specific needs/requirements.
- If decide to proceed, you will enter your credit card information and choose a membership package from the billing page.
- You may post a work order at any time online and a candidate will be assigned to the position. You may request a candidate you have had in the past and we will contact her first to see if she is available. Families will be emailed a confirmation including the name of the individual assigned to the position.
Costs:
There is a $50 yearly membership fee and a $25 a day booking fee for the On-Call Membership. Or you may choose our Frequent Users Membership package with a $200 yearly membership fee and a $10 a day booking fee. This is the package most popular with our clients. This is also the package we utilize to place Temporary nannies. There is a $40 charge when you request a candidate with less than 24 hours notice.
You will pay your sitter directly at the end of the day/evening by cash or check. The rate is $10 per hour with a 4 hour minimum. If the sitter transports your child, you should reimburse her for gas.
