The Nanny Connection is committed to find the child care you need, providing you with:

  • Personalized attention. We meet with you to assess your family's specific needs prior to referring nanny candidates.
  • A commitment to referring qualified child care providers that have been personally interviewed by our staff, thoroughly background checked, reference checked, and certified in infant/child CPR & First Aid.
  • Information on duties and expectations of a nanny, sample interview questions, a nanny-family work agreement, and resources for tax advice and nanny payroll services.
  • Thorough profiles of hand-picked nanny candidates that match your family's needs.
  • One year free membership to our on-call services when a nanny is hired long term.

*Long term is generally a year or more commitment with 25+ hours per week

    LONG TERM PLACEMENT PROCESS

  1. Families please fill out the online application and agree to our Family Service Agreement
  2. The Placement Coordinator will contact the family to discuss specific needs/requirements.
  3. If the family chooses to proceed, a signed copy of the agency contract and payment of the $200 search fee is required to get started.
  4. After the search fee is paid, an in home meeting with the Placement Coordinator is then scheduled.
  5. At the in home meeting, information about duties and expectations of the nanny and the family, referrals to tax advisors, payroll services, and a nanny/family work agreement will be discussed.  A detailed job description will be developed as well.
  6. Candidates will be chosen and their profiles will be sent to the family. The Placement Coordinator will schedule interviews for the family with these matches.
  7. The agency will contact the family for feedback on the candidates interviewed to assist in finding the ideal match.
  8. Additional referrals will be sent until the family hires a nanny.
  9. When a nanny accepts an offer from a family, verbally or in writing, the placement fee will be charged within 48 hours.  The Placement fee for all positions over 25 hours/week will be $1500 payable to the agency.
  10. If the family is not satisfied with the relationship, the agency will give additional candidate referrals to the family once within 90 days of the nanny’s first day of employment, provided the family has complied with all aspects of the agency contract

PART TIME NANNY (TEMPORARY OR INCONSISTENT SCHEDULE)
For families that require very part time care (less than 25 hrs/wk), nannies are generally placed through the on call service.  We would seek out the same nanny, however, the fees are paid similar to traditional on call babysitting.  The search process is similar to the long term placement process described above.  Please call for more details.

  • Families pay $200 yearly membership fee.
  • There is a $10 booking fee each day the nanny provides care (even if it is the same nanny).
  • Nannies are paid the on call rate of $12/hr with a 4 hour minimum direct from family.
  • Should the same family use the same nanny on a consistent basis, there may be a buy-out option available (If the same nanny stays with you, you will not pay agency booking fees for longer than 13 months!)
