The agency owner and Placement Coordinator is Melissa Ridler. She has a bachelors degree from Kent State University in Family Studies with an emphasis in Child Care and is a devout mother of two young children. Throughout her career, Melissa has worked with children and families in a variety of child care and social service environments. Her experience includes teaching children in an accredited day care center, caring for pregnant and parenting teens (along with their young children) in a residential treatment facility, and working with families participating in a Head Start program find parenting, medical and employment resources in their communities. She is specially trained, and understands that, when you cannot be with them yourself, finding the perfect care for your children is essential.
Bill Ridler is the Director of Sales & Marketing. He recently left the comfort of a Fortune 500 Company to help facilitate the tremendous growth we've experienced at the Nanny Connection. You may speak with him regarding any number of topics, such as business development, event planning and Corporate Back-up care arrangements.
Becky Milewski is our On Call Coordinator, Becky will be responsible for managing all aspects of Temporary and On Call Babysitting, including Event and Back-Up care. Prior to working at the Nanny Connection, Becky worked as an intervention Specialist at schools in Pickerington and Parma, OH. She has also held roles as a case aid for Foster children and as a Nursing Assistant. Becky has been active in Foster Care, caring for over 7 foster children, in addition to respite care. She is committed to providing a great experience for both our families and our sitters in her new role. Becky has a Bachelor's degree from Cleveland State and lives in Medina with her Husband and 4 children.
Susan Sachtleben is in the role of Placement Coordinator, Susan will be responsible for managing all aspects of both the Long Term, Part and Full Time Nanny Placements.
Prior to working at the Nanny Connection, Susan worked for book publishers, HarperCollins and St. Martin's Press, for many years and was the Sales and Marketing Director at New York University Press in New York. She has also held numerous sales and marketing roles for various companies in New York and Ohio.
In addition, Susan has been an active volunteer in her community and was a Co-Chair of the Hudson Home and Garden Tour. An avid tennis player, Susan lives in Hudson with her husband and is a proud mom to three daughters. She has a Bachelor's Degree from the College of William & Mary, has worked in and has hired childcare for her own children. She is very excited to work with both our Families and Nannies to help find a great fit!
Sherri Knight is our Recruiting Coordinator and will be your primary point of contact in our recruiting process. She comes to The Nanny Connection with experience the last two years in staffing and recruiting for a Global third party professional agency. Uniquely, she has served as a professional nanny for multiple families throughout the Cleveland area over the past 10 years, assisting families in their childcare and household staffing needs. Her previous work as a business assistant and appointment setter for another company also serve her well in this position, as she builds connections with our candidates and in the community.
Sherri has a Bachelors Degree from Ashland University, is married and is the proud mother of three children. She is active in her church and committed to helping our families find the best childcare available.
