The agency owner and Director is Melissa Ridler. She has a bachelors degree from Kent State University in Family Studies with an emphasis in Child Care and is a devout mother of two young children. Throughout her career, Melissa has worked with children and families in variety of child care and social service environments. Her experience includes teaching children in an accredited day care center, caring for pregnant and parenting teens (along with their young children) in a residential treatment facility. She also assisted families participating in a Head Start program to find parenting, medical and employment resources in their communities. Melissa is passionate about the child care field and understands that, when you cannot be with them yourself, finding quality care for your children is essential.
Bill Ridler is the Director of Sales & Marketing. He recently left the comfort of a Fortune 500 Company to help facilitate the tremendous growth we've experienced at the Nanny Connection. You may speak with him regarding any number of topics, such as business development, event planning and Corporate Back-up care arrangement.
Gina Wilson is our Placement Coordinator for long term full and part time nanny placements. She has been working with children since she was 9 years old watching her younger brothers. Her work with children have been vast and various, from babysitting, to coordinating youth programs at a local church, to being and active foster parent and adopting 8 children of her own (10 total)! When her children were younger, she even ran her own daycare from her home. For five, years, Gina served families in Lakewood, working with Family services program to educate, inspect and train families for compliance in nutrition and USDA standards. Gina studied business management in college, and now lives in Medina with her husband and children.
Rachel Prosser is our Recruiting and Screening Coordinator. Prior to working with the Nanny Connection, Rachel worked in various fields handling Project Management, Sourcing, Event Coordination among others. Rachel has been with the Nanny Connection for 8 years in various babysitting settings, she has a true passion for working with children. Outside of the agency, she enjoys traveling & backpacking with her boyfriend & their dog!
The Nanny Connection opened its doors in Hudson,Ohio in 2004 with the goal of finding
